Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

another day of rest...

very nice.

i have to get up early today and go to the hospital to meet with my HR dept about my time off...wish me luck. i am trying to get another 45 days off before i have to go back. i hope that i can, but if not we will work it out. i may just need to get some friends to help provide transportation to and from the day hospital once in a while. (unless they have "take your husband to work day").

tim is being able to stay awake a little longer each day...and he is eating great and drinking better-although we still feel the need to hit RITA's twice a day for those much needed fluids. he loves the wild berry ice. it get's him out of the house for a bit and sometimes we take a little ride to change the scenery too. we still walk every day.

well, that is the update for the day-labs are still good. his platelets held at 40 for three days now, so we feel that they are leveling off and will start to rise again soon. this is good.

lots of good-tim says it is a SLOW good, but a good. he never was the patient one in the family.

thanks for checking in-

tim and tammy.

Wanted to send you a note this morning to send our love. I called last night to see if I could stop by. I have Tim's Circle of Excellence Award He won. The guy isn't working and he is still winning awards. Tell Tim to keep the faith. It's a slow process but he will get there. Tam, let me know if you need to arrange transportation back and forth from the hospital. There is enought people from his Pepsi Family that can help. I'll call today. Love--Ed

God has been so good that He will not let you down with your work schedule, Tammy. Whatever the decision by HR, it will be OK. God is in control. The Mango ice is great at Rita's. Wish we could be available for help with transportation. The commute would be difficult! Love you guys. Praying.

Don't go buy a book - it's actually on its way!
But, you should get some chocolate to go with it!
So glad to hear everything's going well. Give Tim our love.
Much love,
the fat cow (who said this was beautiful?)

We continue to lift your family up in prayer and continue to wait for the phone to ring saying you need our help... The quiet feeling will be ending tomorrow as we bring the Youth back from Camp. The twins helped Daniel devour his b-day cake that Bethany & I took up yesterday. They were in the pool a little too long and were worried about looking prunish (?) Sending our love!

HI Tim and Tammy. Glad to hear you are home and we continue to pray every day for you and your family. I am off Fridays during the summer, and Bill is off now that he is one of those overpaid, vacation-lovin' teachers. We could certainly help with transportation or just some respite care. I'm cool with it. Hope you're getting a chance to watch the World Cup, Bill was getting into it on vacation. Take care and don't hesitate to call upon us for help.

Hi guys! Sounds like we'll have to get you an "are you hooked yet? t-shirt from Rita's--the raspberry lemonade it quite good, too. I can also help with transport if things don't work out with your schedule--I can drop him off and the kids and I can go shopping--they'll love it!-and when he's ready, we'll bring him home. Continue to do good. Love to you all--Kathy and Ron
