first day of buck...

...hope all of you who roamed the woods today had some good hunting.

today the doctors appt went well...even though we knew this-it was the FIRST day that the doctor actually said that based on all the tests and scans you are officially in REMISSION>>>it was nice to hear him say it. i guess once you are diagnosed with cancer you are never actually classified as cancer-free but rather in remission...so that is where we are. we actually have three weeks off...no appts, no scans, no bloodwork. this makes for a good day.

we had a wonderful thanksgiving with family and friends and lots of food...i have been debating about how much longer to keep this blog going because his appts are getting spaced more and more but while i was in berwick i must have had a dozen or more people tell me how much they appreciate the blog-so i guess i will keep blogging a bit longer. thanks for all your interest and support and prayers.

we are going to try and get some of the christmas decorations up this week and start some shopping. (it is nice to have a week of a normal routine with no appointments).

thanks for checking in...

We knew it too, but it is awfully good to hear the word--REMISSION!!!It just reminds us once again that we serve an awesome God and boy, does he answer prayers--Congrats Tim! We, too, enjoy the blog and feel like we can still know how things are even if we don;t see you. Thanks for being so faithful with it! Love and prayers, the Powells

God is good. He will continue to do this good work, which He has begun. The Holiday was great. Tim, you look good. Every day will be better and I am sure even the doctors words help. Have a great week.

Great news....It's nice to hear it from the Doctor's mouth. I know it is a long process but your faith has brought you and your family through some tough times. Know that we love you all and that you continue to be in out thoughts and prayers. Glad to hear you had a great Thanksgiving. Look forward to seeing you soon. Love--Ed
