a TOUGH one...
...this is going to be a tough blog to post tonight.
we got the results of the PET scan this afternoon and found out that not only is the cancer back, but it has chosen to come back in multiple locations. this will eliminate the possibility of radiation therapy. we are moving on to CHEMO...yuk!!!
we are scheduled for admission to the hershey medical center (pending bed availability) sometime tomorrow afternoon. he will have some sort of central line put in and the first round of chemo will be scheduled to begin tomorrow night if all goes as planned. tim is less than thrilled with the fact that he has to stay in the hospital for the chemo (about 5 days minimum) but he really has no choice.
i wish i could tell you more. all they say is that this is NOT good news. we are all struggling a bit tonight. it is impossible to describe how hard it is to tell your 3 teenage daughters that we have to go through this AGAIN>

We love you guys and we will be here for whatever you need. And most of al we will continue to pray for all of you.
All we can say is we are praying. We struggle with you and pray for God's wisdom and His perfect peace as you so through this again. We are with you for whatever you need. God is able to take you through this situation and heal Tim of this cancer. We love you.
Last night in our house as we all struggled with the news and dealt with not only the brother's feelings, but the donor dynamics too, we literally made a pact to keep our eyes fixed on the God who is bigger than any disease and any struggle we have ever been through. And so I encourage you too to above all else, keep your focus on Him every minute of every day and don't lose sight of Him for even a little while.
