Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

pca

those are three very important letters, and although i am not 100% sure what they stand for, i know that they are going to give tim the pain relief that he needs right now. they hooked him up to a direct line to some pretty decent drugs and all he has to do is push a button to get a dose.

his mouth and throat pain is very severe today and his stomach is upset and his energy level is wiped and he is soooooo ready for this to be over...but one day at a time. today we can break it up into 15 minutes intervals-which is how often he can have the pain meds. because of the pain meds and the stomach meds he is able to sleep a bit during the day-which is a good thing. he is no longer able to eat so they are watching his bloodwork and if they feel he needs the IV nutrients they will add that also.

kind of a downer day, but he is still hanging tough.

ashley still has the fever...home today with pappy.

i will be in touch.

Thank God for great meds to alleviate the pain! Hang in there guys. It may not feel like it sometimes, but you're smack in the middle of a miracle happening here. Like you said, one day at a time. "God is striding ahead of you. He is right there with you. He won't let you down. He won't leave you." (Deut 31:8)

Love ya lots!!!

Hi guys! I just today discovered that you had a blog--that's great 'cause there are so many people who care and want to know how things are going and it helps us to know how to pray as well. You can add New Mexico to your list of states as well. things may seem tough right now, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and the Lord will bring you through--we all know he doesn't stop halfway! We pray in Jesus name for your complete deliverance, peaceful rest, less pain and healing for Ashley. Love and prayers,
The Powells

PCA is a wonderful. PCA is patient controlled analgesia. Tell Tim to use it. He will get a controlled amount, but it will help him through the next few days. God is in control. Love you guys!

ahh; Patient Control Unit; what a blessing !
No matter how bad it gets, for now, "bad" is just temperary;
An old friend, who went to be w/ the Lord a few years back, June Hacten, once shared this verse w/ me; I have used it over and over, ever since; it has been my Haven/ my light house, during my little storms along the way;
Ex 14,v14; HE will fight your fight; HE will keep your peace; paraprased by yours truly;
I pray for Tim and ea of you , daily and I know Dan does to in his early devotional time before heading off to work;
Remember Tammy, we are here for you and any thing we can help out with, would be our blessing!
Continue in GOD's Strength;
Love and Blessings
