Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

friday afternoon update...

so far so good.

the biggest change today is that tim sleeps alot...his stomach is still giving him some grief and the meds make him tired, plus his red cells are dropping a bit and that will make him tired also. he is expected to need his first post-transplant blood transfusion sometime tomorrow. his mouth sores (also expected) are starting up-but so far he hasn't needed any pain meds for that. within the next couple of days they expect him to need a medication pump to be able to control the pain in his mouth from all the sores.

he has been a real champ through this whole ordeal and is determined to continue on that course.

we were talking recently about how awesome it was that we had "prayer connections" in so many different places and were trying to figure out just how many area's of the country (and beyond) that tim's prayer request were being addressed.

so far, in addition to ETHIOPIA, we have come up with about 16 different states:

pa
maryland
louisiana
kansas
oklahoma
texas
delaware
missouri
ohio
mass.
florida
new jersey
california
idaho
oregon
kentucky

pretty cool stuff...if you know of any other states or countries that we may have missed please let us know.

gotta get back to the mask (he is now in isolation).

later...

Hi Tammy,
A spiritual thought for today....
"God is the sunshine that warms us, the rain that melts the frost and waters the young planats. The presence of God is a climate of strong and bracing love, always there." Joan Arnold.
I remain optimistic that Tim continues to grow stronger in determination as he faces this next stage in the healing/recovery process.
Always in out thoughts and prayers. Twigg

Thanks for the update. We love you and are praying. How awesome about all the areas of the country and the world that are praying. Rest in the assurance that so many are praying at all hours of the day and night. We are holding you up in prayer. Praying for Tim's mouth and for no pain!

You can add New York... (Syracuse).
Keep pumping him up and reminding him who gave it all for His healing and we'll be right here, all over this country and beyond, praying!! Got a note from Ethiopia today and they are singing the hallelujah chorus for what our God has done so far. I think I can hear it from here!
love ya!

Tammy,

You can add Wisconsin. The lady I worked with retired to her home state Wisconsin this year and we e-mail back and forth. She was praying for Tim since his Auto-Immune problems. We just gave our Pastor an update tonight.

Craig use to get the real bad mouth sores. They are very painful but hopefully Tim will be a better patient than Craig and try the mouth rinses they give you. He usually had them until his counts came back up. We are praying for as little side effects as possible. Unfortunately to get better you need to take the bad to get good!

Love you all!

Wendy

My very close friend Joanne moved there last year from Orlando. I miss her greatly. Cancer touches her family too, so I know her prayers for you and our whole family are sincere.
Love, Wendy
