10.2

mark had a wonderful day today...which means that tim will have a wonderful day tomorrow.

we needed a minimum 2 million stem cells
we expected about 4-6 million stem cells
he hoped for 8 million stem cells
he harvested 10.2 million stem cells

yes, that is 10,200,000 stem cells...they are going to use half and freeze half incase we would need a boost down the road. GOD has answered our prayers again. tim is feeling much better tonight also. still having many times of reflection and emotion-but we are coping as well as can be expected. he is having me read all the cards and thoughts and comments. he loves them.

no idea what time the transplant will take place. (sorry) all we know is that it will be sometime tomorrow. i will keep you all posted when i can.

Hi All! We are SO excited to hear the good news! I'm thrilled that Mark had a wonderful day. Mark, Tim, and Gwen have always been the closest thing I've had to brothers or a sister and I love you all very much (probably should say that more often!). I've been thinking so much of my childhood with Tim lately and the goofy and wonderful things we did. Tim, do you remember back scratches? We used to all take turns and count to 50. But, once you convinced me to scratch your back while you were reading the Bible. You said that I should scratch just until you finished the chapter...well, you never mentioned how LOOOONG the chapter was!! This too, has been a long chapter for you (and us all), but God is in charge of writing it and He is a pretty awesome author. We LOVE you all and miss you.
Love, Wendy, Bob, Andrew, & Carter

We serve a 10.2 kind of God and this is yet another piece of evidence that He is not only in control, but He deals in absolute abundance... "more than we could even ask or think"! We have seen His hand in this all along and we have every reason to believe for a 10.2 kind of recovery!! THIS is our God!!!
Glory to Him!!

We give praise to the Lord of the "harvest"! The Prince of Peace! The healer of bodies! The deliverer! The One who sets the captive free! We place our trust in the One who is Faithful & True to deliver Tim from this onslaught of the enemy and restore health back to him!

Our Father has declared:
One shall put a thousand to flight and two, ten thousand; We stand as an army of believers to put this enemy to flight!

As you face your battle today in the transplant, many are joining together to put the enemy to flight in the spiritual. (What can stand against the blood of Jesus? NOTHING!)

We love you all so much.

Wendy called me lastnight with the good news. Have you all in my prayers today for a very good day for Tim. Through the emails and prayers you really see God at work, it's such a wonderous thing! Kudos out to Mark for the loving thing he has done for his brother. Will be thinking of you all day today. Can't wait for an update. Take care and God bless. Love, Carol and Uncle Rich.

Carol has told us of your situation. Please know that my prayers, that of my family and many, many others are with you as you continue this chapter of your life. Most importantly, God is with you and your family. Be comforted today that God has a grand plan for you! You are strong because you trust in the Lord. Remain faithful and he will carry you when you are weak. God bless you today and throughout your journey.

That is wonderful news! Having seen the miracles of modern medicine first hand with family and friends, you not only have that in your pocket, but you have the strength of God in your corner as well. The old saying of "God works in mysterious ways" becomes more true every day. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. May God be with you always.

Tim and Tammy,
The daily devotion for today, May 18th scripture is: Psalm 27:1 With Him on my side I'm fearless, afraid of no one and nothing. The last paragraph then says "God is just waiting for you to do what you can, then He'll do what you can't." These words say it all. We are praying!

Tim and Tammy, I read for the first time your story although Carol has asked us to pray for you all for a while now.

Howdy Dewalt Family! I've been keepin up with Tim's progress through my Pepsi friends but did not know about this site until today. What a wonderful idea!
Tim is a real trooper and a wonderful person. We miss him at work and look forward to him being back in the saddle - soon!!!
Tammy, I read this inspriational message and would like you to share with Tim... "It's easy to see God's beauty in a glorious sunset or in ocean waves crashing on a beach. But can we find the holiness in a struggle for life?....We must remember that everything in this worldk has God's fingerprints on it - that alone makes it special.
My family keeps your family in our daily thoughts and prayers. Twigg
