a celebration tonight...
after approximately 11 months, tim was given the OK to eat lettuce!!!! that may not seem like a big deal to you, but he loves salads and celery and tomatoes and has been craving them for months. SO...we ate lettuce tonight!!!!! i know it seems silly, but this was such a milestone event for us. (it sometimes doesn't take much to excite us).
his bloodwork came back really good, except for a minor issue that his anti-rejection drug level was toxic-but that is an easy fix. his liver enzymes are still dropping (which is good) and his other counts are holding steady.
it was a good doctors appt and we are apppointment-free through the holidays. YEAH!!!

What a day to celebrate! Lettuce is good. We are looking forward to seeing you guys over the Christmas holiday. We truly have so much to be thankful for. Wonderful news about the bloodwork!!
Tim can have a steak salad again. I know he must be happy! Glad to hear that you are appointment free & can relax and enjoy the holidays.
Tam, I am sure that keeping the blog going requires a lot of effort but it is so very nice to be able to check in on all of you.
