Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

day one...

tim was admitted at 4:50pm this afternoon. this was 10 minutes away from the 5:00pm deadline in the chemo lab...so we made it just in time. they have started his "pre-chemo" stuff and the real stuff should be hung at about 11:00pm tonight.

everything went VERY smooth with the admission and all that preliminary stuff of meeting the new resident doctor and the new intern doctor and the different nurses and having to tell the same information over and over and over again. tim was a real trooper.

the doctor (original oncologist) was in to see tim late tonight...about 9pm and did the here we are speech and the this is not good speech and we will have to wait and see speech...but after he left tim and i talked and decided (like mark and deb) that we can not dwell on the what might happens but rather keep finding the positives and picturing tim well again.

thanks for all the calls, cards, blog comments, thoughts and prayers. you guys are awesome and we are so blessed to have such great friends, co-workers, relatives, neighbors, etc...

i will update when i can.

thanks for checking in.

Thanks so much for the update, Tammy. All God asks of us is to take one day at a time. You and Tim may have to take one hour at a time. God will be with you for every minute, every hour, every day. We are also with you for every minute, hour, and day. The physicians will give you the cold hard facts, which we need to know. Our hope is in the Creator of the universe who know Tims body and every tiny detail. He knows what is need for the healing to take place.
Praying continually.
We love you guys and will see you soon.

I can't imagine how difficult it is to hear the doctors present the picture of what's going on in Tim's body in the natural. But no matter what any physician or medical report says, we know that the real truth lies only in what God says about it, and what Jesus has done about it. We are right alongside of you in keeping our hearts, minds, and expectations on Him. Thank God for doctors, but it's all about Him. Love you guys!
