holding pattern...

that is the best way that i can describe our appt today.

things we know:

tim has had two rounds of chemo
tim has had radiation therapy
tim has nausea and vomiting (source unknown)
tim is on lots of medication

things we don't know:

did the chemo and radiation put him remission?
are we going to do more chemo (some have gone through 6 rounds before they stop)?
are they going to do the DLI (boost of frozen cells)?

things we think:

wait and see if the nausea gets better with another three weeks...it could be GVH or it could be something else that no one has thought of yet.

continue with the day hospital appt.


it was kinda of a frustrating appt today. we were hoping for a decision one way or the other. now we just have to continue doing what we are doing and see what happens.

they are afraid that if the nausea is GVH that the boost of cells (DLI) will magnify the problem and they don't want that. so we wait...no medication changes...we just continue doing what we are doing.

well, that is it for now. i will update over the weekend if something changes, but if you don't see an update, then no changes have occurred.
