Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

say a prayer today...

tim has some "weirdness" going on...keep him in your prayers today.

his newly found tumor behind his left arm is giving him some major grief and we are heading to the hospital this morning for a radiology oncology consult to see if they think some radiation therapy could shrink the tumor and give him some relief. there is a good possiblity that today he will have his radiation "markings" and begin treatments. (very UNEXPECTED).

if they do start the radiation it will only be for pain control purposes...we have been told (which we already knew) that this would in no way be "CURATIVE". the goal of the day is to give him some relief...and for those of you who were with him yesterday...he was not keeping anything from you...THIS IS ALL RELATIVELY NEW-SINCE 3PM THURSDAY. we knew about the tumor BUT his arm started with the spasms yesterday afternoon and has been getting worse every couple of hours.

it is alittle after 3AM and he is up popping his morphine...pray that this treatment will give him some pain control.

we will be in touch when we know anything. we do have a PET SCAN scheduled for october 15th. the day that megan turns 18 we will find out how much her dad "glows"...goody! (some days are just a bit rougher than others-i hate to see him in pain-keep praying)

thanks for all the "essay" comments. (she wasn't too upset when she found out-thanks craig II)

thanks for checking in

Tammy,

You guy are in my thoughts and PRAYERS constantly. It just is not fair. I know we are not to question, but it is hard. I will pray right now for pain relief for Tim. He is such a great guy and I don't know why anyone has to suffer so. We love you all and pray for your whole family. I wish I was there to give you a great big hug. We all appreciate your updates and I am sorry Craig II left it slip to Megan. Craiger loves his Uncle Tim.
Your in our prayers!

Wendy

Praying every day and thinking of you all, as well.
One would think that by my age, I would understand more...having walked with the Lord for half of my life.......
But I don't! I don't get it, but I do know that God knows what He is doing and He loves Tim with a purer
heart than any one us can.
