Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

new years eve...

so many memories enter my mind when i think back to the new years eve that started this whole mess...and even though we have been through some really bizarre and tough times in the past three years we are BOTH so thankful that God graciously gave tim those extra years.

we have grown so much...our marriage is stronger. our kids are stronger. our faith is stronger. our priorities are stronger.

we have to head out to the hospital for a radiation treatment and some bloodwork. i will be shooting out an update sometime today or tomorrow explaining exactly where we are in the big picture.

hang tough. keep sending those e-mails. they have been so valuable for all of us. some make us laugh. some make us cry. others initiate questions from the kids...i am loving the fact that the kids are getting to see the tim that the world sees (and not just the guy who makes them clean their room)...awesome stuff.

thanks for checking in

As this year winds down and the new one is just around the corner... I'm thankful as well for the Dewalt family - for the blessing they have been to each of us and for the faithfulness of God throughout this journey your family has been on. With love and continued prayers ...diane

Tim & Tammy,
We are relatively new to the church and just discovered this site a few weeks back. I have spent countless hours reading both Tammy's entries and the responses and I see a story developing. There is joy, there are tears, hope, disappointment, victory, faith and most importantly....family. We don't always know the "why's" of life but we must be steadfast in knowing "There is purpose in everything He does." You both are an inspiration to everyone who reads these. God bless you both for allowing us to be a part of your journey. We pray renewed spirit and strength for you all as we come into the new year.

Back home from an evening at church, families and ringing in the new year. The movie was touching (Fireproof)and brought tears to my eyes. Wanted you to know my family and I said a prayer for you tonight and asked God's healing hand in the new year.

God Bless.......John

Dear Friends; we continue to lift you up to the Throne Room of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Sometimes it just does not seem to be enough; we just want to help!
But we remain in an attitude of prayer and remain your friends; any hour day or night any of you need us, you call, ok!
We love you

Praise the Lord we made it to the end of 2008 now entering into the New Year of 2009. I pray that God would grant each of us the desires of our hearts to see healing, restoration, loved ones back to Himself, and our own desires of what we have been praying for. May the Lord bless and keep you in His tender care.
