an amazing poem - Footprints in the Samd

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was only one.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could only see one set of footprints, so I questioned the Lord.
"You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has been only one set of footprints in the sand. Whey, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?" The Lord replied, "The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you."

HOpe this brings you some comfort.

The family has been really great about filling me in.
Kim (Wendy's sister) called me the night of the Harrisburg service and told me about it. It made me even more proud of you and the girls and so thankful to have known Tim and look forward to seeing him again.
I'm more than sure that the Berwick service was also a beautiful tribute to who Tim Dewalt is and what his life meant to so many...as well as a firm confirmation of this family's strength and solidarity.
Continuing to pray for you---all of you.
Love,
Aunt Katie

I agree that you should take these blogs from over the past three years and use them to write a book. I think it would be a very good tribute to Tim's legacy, and a very inspirational tool for other families in a similar situation. Mrs. Martz wrote a story about her son from Berwick who lost his battle to cancer, and it is a very good book.
