HICCUPS

that is about all that has really changed. poor tim has the hiccups bad.

still in that holding pattern i guess. he is still sleeping alot but the hiccups are making him very restless...he is not quite as calm as he was. so...if you are looking for a "specific" prayer request: pray for the hiccups to go and the pain to stay controlled.

keep praying for my cough to go away...i did finally break down and see a doctor. antibiotics and cough syrup with codeine but i am still hacking away.

fred has gone home for a break and my mom has returned for support. i have the most amazing family and friends anyone could ask for...i thank GOD all the time for giving me such a support system to help me get through each day and sometimes each hour.

thanks for checking in

I can't help but think of the strong Tim I know on the Babseball Diamond. Wacking that ball with all of his might, sliding into base with amazing speed, catching that ball and getting that other guy out so quickly!
Remembering times when Tim and I talked about Spiritual things! It was awesome to talk to someone who felt the same way as you did....wanting more of God!
Tim was always a great listener, a gentle man and a man who loves his family so much!
Our God is amazing and His ways are not always our way. My favorite is: He will never leave you or forsake you! AWESOME!

We have you in our hearts (Phil.1:7)

The prayers continue from our side of the river. Between the hiccups and the cough you two have a wonderful rythem section going! Sometimes it's hard to find humor when all seems so dark, but He is our rock, our light and our salvation. Praying for a day of peace and rest for you both.

I thought you sounded a bit strained on the phone last night. It's amazing how this post was given @ 2 in the morning and I'm still not the first to comment. Your family has a loyal following...I mean, Kara and I can't even give you a meal without making reservations!! As of right now it looks like we're making a dessert. Looking forward to seeing you tonight. Your in our prayers.

Tammy,
I have been keeping my sister, Gail, posted, as she is praying for all of you. And she said to tell you that Thorazine will help the hiccup situation. (She's a Hospice nurse) She says it is quite common and although it will make him sleepier...that could also be okay. She said that if the Hospice nurse is already using Thorazine, she should check to see if she can increase the amount or use a different method of administering.
She is praying for Tim and you and the girls, as well.
I am too!
Love,
Aunt Katie

Tammy,
Hopefully, these will few verses will bring some comfort to you and the girls at a time of such pain. II Timothy 4:6-8.For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing
Tim was such a inspiration to all who knew him! We will keep you our prayers.
