Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

it's snowing....

...yeah.

just a little update to let everyone know that we are fine (for the most part). i survived my working 4 out of 5 days feeling guilty that i had sick kids at home...this single working parent gig is not going to be any fun!!! the twins are battling a wicked cold, sore throat, wacko stomach, headache, ect...

kelsey missed two days of school and ashley came home early yesterday. i guess there is a lot of "stuff" going around. i am still coughing (since late december). they are coughing...sounds like a TB asylum over here at night.

i am really tired...haven't been sleeping well.

tomorrow i am determined to get the last of my paperwork stuff done. i went and picked up the certified documents that the courthouse needed to provide and i think i can finally proceed with the rest of my stuff. i am hoping that a few more hours should be all that i need to wrap things up.

social security is finally taken care of...thankfully.

i have a lot more to say but my brain is fried and my fingers are dyslexic tonight so i am going to take a break and try to get some sleep.

thanks for checking in

tammy.

Sorry to here the girls and you are all sick. My daughter, Miranda, has the same stuff. Just took her for antibiotics yesterday. Hope that helps. You are all in my prayers!

Thinking about you and the girls this morning - wanted to let you know we continue to pray for you. So glad someone else likes the snow! You should have seen the mad scramble last night in the church parking lot when Bible Study ended...LOL. Did the single parent role for many years - never easy. Trust in God, listen to your heart, ask for help when needed - you'll do fine. The good thing is the girls are all older and have good sense. They know what they need to do but just need some guidence, encouragement, and so on. Your relationship with them is going to take on some new dynamics - an exciting but scary time. Have that cough looked at Tammy - anything over a week is not good. Strength to you today as you finish up some items that are hard, I'm sure.

Peace and strength..........

Set your own pace, don't be too hard on yourself if things fall a little behind schedule, take time out to prop your feet up and watch the snow fall. Sending our love, continuing to keep you in our prayers---diane

Apparently, one of you in PA sneezed or coughed, and now CA has the crud!

Both the grand-girls are sick and I was at Walmart tonight stocking up on OTC stuff.

As for the single parent thing...Yep! It pretty much stinks. But I prayed the girls out in the morning and prayed 'em back in come evening. With His help...we made it---even though raising them alone was not my first choice.

Anyway, you are all in my prayers.
xo to all,
Aunt Katie

have honey at night 1tsp before bed to stop coughing

hopefully ur kids swallow pills- mucinex has a new extra strength version 1200 mg

also try - ester C; neti pot (you'll get the hang of it); distilled water for the neti pot; and zicam nose swabs

we have had the same symptoms here and these items have really helped
